Virus Plague
Is it possible an unknown plague could turn us into flesh eating zombies?
Okay, the other night I was watching Dawn of the Dead with my friend, her boyfriend and my boyfriend when it occured to me. Is it possible that some virus can turn us into flesh eating zombies. To tell you the truth I’m scared s*** that it might happen and I just want a few responses to calm me down.

Not likely, the thing with the way movies and tv portray diseases like that is that they don’t take into account they basic facts about viruses and bugs. The amount of energy it would take to infect and turn a person like they do in the movies would suck the host(human body) dry of all sources of energy and the body would die before the virus could spread. And bugs with the ability to infect a host and turn it in seconds like in 28 days later, would take way to much energy and kill it’s host before it could spread. Thus the unrealisticness of the scenario. As far as a slower acting virus that could animate dead tissue and make us zombies, highly unlikely. It is just a common human fear that is used to make money for big movie companies. Even the movie Outbreak with Morgan Freeman was an exaggeration of the Ebola virus.
