Can I use the plastic containers that plants come in at stores, to grow on my balcony?
I bought some various pots from a lady on craigslist, and hadn’t realized some of them were the regular plastic containers that plants come in when you buy them at the store.
Anyhow, I want to grow vegetables. Are these sturdy enough? Or should I go out and buy some?
Wash and clean them well, to prevent disease on the new plants…make sure they are deep enough for the roots of the plants you want to try… check them through the growing season to make sure they have not become root bound…(roots coming out of the bottom of the container)
Are they big enough?
