Softball Equipment

Can I use fast-pitch softball equipment, slow pitch softball?
I have a fast pitch glove and bat, but I play recreational softball slow pitch. I am wondering if it is common for some people to have a glove-and fast pitch bats while playing softball slow pitch. I am especially concerned about the possibility of using my glove, I have chosen because it fits me well. What are the thoughts y'all?
I played softball 23 years and the glove did not matter. I played Fastpitch and slowpitch in the same year and used the same glove. No biggie. If anything it will give you a bit of an edge because the ball is smaller. The bat is another story. You can use a stick fastball, still no biggie, but it is a bat lighter. In slowpitch because it is obviously much land slower, you can use much heavier as a bat 27 oz or 28 oz Stock Fastpitch bats are about 23 or 24. It will do the same thing but heavier a bat the farther the ball will go. Good Luck! Slowpitch lot of fun.
