Fixing a wet DS Lite?
Basicly i found a nintento ds in a road (its pretty scratched up but oh well) It turns on fine, but the 2 screens have gone funny, the top is white with green stripes and the bottom is white with like a thumb print shape black splodge on it.. I opened it up and looked at the battery and it was all wet, same with the gameboy advance slot which makes sence because it has been raining.. The sound is fine, same with the use of buttons its just the 2 screens that are broken. Any way of fixing it?
and please no answers like hand it in to the police or anything.. Because who would claim a stratched up broken ds these days?

Try removing the battery and pouring rubbing alcohol all over it. I know what you’re thinking, “Ha! What would that do to fix it?”. But actually, alcohol is great on computer parts because it evaporates and leaves little residue, unlike water. That is what causes the short-circuits and such, and alcohol will fix that. I have actually used this to successfully resurrect a cell phone that went through the washing machine (and partially through the dryer too =D). Anyways, you should pour lots of rubbing alcohol all over the unit and then let it evaporate over the course of several hours. After you have checked the screen and the crevices for any leftover liquid alcohol, you can replace the battery back into the unit and see if it works!
