How can you mix and master music correctly?
i kow there is no "right" way to do it, but I want the music I make mesh very well together and have set a bold tone. I have pro tools and all professional programs, but I can not always do well things and generally all my songs sound different on different speakers or players. the bass is either aloud, or singing, etc. or is there a kind cause i online tutorial can not find one. any advice would help.
It is a universal problem, but now more days people in the industry try to mix it sounds better coming from headphones. Ipods, probably one of the most used for listening music, not controllable preamp so you can not adjust the music. Cars and computers, on the other hand have an equalizer so you can adjust bass and treble half. Not to rain on your parade, but should not you may have learned to mix before buying protools? I am a guy logic pro myself. The best thing to do is to listen through headphones, because those are what the Most people will hear from (or what you will hear from, since I'm hoping this is not a project commercial). Spend a few minutes tweaking every day for several days. You need time between listening to reset your mind to. Often I finish on a track, mix it and put it on my ipod, but when I listen to a few days later, I finally notice the drums are too loud or singing are not sharp enough, so I go back and correct. I do the same for records in the house I'm with professional recordings
