Is Any Player In Any Sport, Specifically MLB, Worth $28 Million Like A-Rod?
just for the math — 28 million / 162 games = $172,839.50 per game
like are you kidding me?
“Worth” is a relative thing, but I believe the answer is no. Having a $28 million guy on your roster does not necessarily equate to $28 million plus in extra revenue.
There’s a chapter on it in this book, but you need to be pretty into baseball stats to read this…it’s tough!
