Large Batting
How do you call places that offer entertainment, but are not as great as the theme parks or amusement parks?
There are always (or were) many local places you can go play miniature golf, arcade games, was batting cages, maybe go-karts and pedal boats. I try to do some wiki entries, and I'm not sure if these fall under the theme parks or amusement parks b / c of their size. If is a common name for places like this, I would like to know how to refer to it.
I usually find these listed under Parks amusement or entertainment venues. The Roller Coaster Data Base, they are classified as amusement parks, and MapQuest offer a search option places of attractions nearby.
