Can we now have movies where the bad guys win? I thought the two next Batman film could show coming Bane and shoot the bats. Batman becomes an alcoholic and at the end of the Bane is almost in charge of Gotham. In the next film, Batman could go back to finally defeat the Bane. Another may be the movie Superman Doomsday kills Superman while.
Although Star Wars ep 3 was the last film to do, it was a prequel to the 3 original film, if the bad guys did not win, Darth Vader dies the fact that Palpatine and two stars of death, destroyed. As for Batman, each film is a different story, not a chapter of a much larger story.
