Out of all the pitchers the Cardinals let go of, who would be the best fit to come back?
We need help. Reyes sucked it up. Kip Wells is a disaster. Loopers coming back down to earth. Wainwright is struggling. Thompson ehhh what can you say. Todd Wellemeyer’s a short term answer. Carp and mulder won’t be back for a couple more months. We’re lucky to be in the central or we would be screwed.

Jeff Suppan- Milwaukee
Jason Marquis- Chicago
Jeff Weaver- Seattle
Good point…what’d we get out of Haren…oh ya Mulder and what has he done? Nothing. Haren would be nice.
As a Cub fan, I like Jason Marquis. I know his second half numbers havn’t been near as impressive as his first half. But you realize he has more first half wins in the last three years than any pitcher in the major leagues. I know the baseball axium is what did you do for me today and at the end of the season last year Marquis didn’t do much, so I see why you let him go. Weaver was a total fluke, you did a good job letting him go. Suppan’s tough, and probably the most consistant of the three. But I think Marquis at his best is the best of the three.
