why was there a batting cage at a golf course in happy gilmore?
fridge logic just hits me, after the challenge at the waterbury driving range, there’s a batting cage there and he just takes the hits to the chest and head before chubbs pulls the plug on him.
Your asking to find some sort of reason or logic in this film? I have seen cages in miniature golf courses but not like where he was at. I think it was a device put in by the directors that was meant to re-emphasize the main characters lack of tact and foolhardiness. Other than that I don’t see any other reason.
