Why is it that few people were interested in the Wold Baseball Classic?
As a baseball fan, it seems clear that is more fun to play a game for your country in your city. I'm a fan hardcorps Yankees, but I rather see the USA in Cuba or playing Dominicana the Mets play the Giants. Why is it that it was such low ratings? The stadiums were full, I know because I was there in five games, but in polls, it seems that if America does not care what baseball is truly national pride. Baseball kindly to fans, answer the question or give me your opinion on this issue.
As a baseball fan first, I enjoyed watching this series as much as any series I've seen in baseball. The games were on the National / personal pride and play the game for the love of it. Questions contracts bloating, problems clubhouse, drug use, etc. .. were non-factors. Because I was so excited about the series, I called everybody I knew and I really excited about the game and (some of them are not baseball fans, even). The fact that they responded so well said that although she has bad grades (poorly marketed, available only on cable, players out of form ** **, etc..) that potential is there. It was just a matter of getting the word and people interested in games. I would note that it was important for me to be able to see major league players that I knew. The United States, Domican Republic, Puerto Rico are three examples of teams which were loaded with major league talent. I also like All Star game a lot for the same reasons. The attitude of these games is to win pride (true spirit of the game). Although it was not always the case, but seems to be the case these days … If MLB does not prevent the World Classic baseball (it is always money and control), I think it will continue to do well in the years to come. PS: The second WBC is scheduled to take place in 2009.
