The Atec Casey Pro is vaunted as one of the best pitching machines for sale today for a number of reasons with the manufacturer claiming that every breaking ball imaginable at variable speed of up to 100mph can be thrown at you. The head adjustment is extremely quick allowing you to switch from pitch to pitch and drill to drill styles quickly and easily while it has easy mobility due to the quick release legs and transport wheels. It’s the most consistently accurate machine available too, due to Atec’s dual concave wheel design and of course it also comes with the usual Atec standards of stainless steel wheelguards, all round top strength construction and a powder coat finish that is second to none.
Some other points of note:
All breaking ball styles are present: curves, sliders, screwballs, splitters and any other you can imagine.
Pitch speeds can be adjusted from anything between 30 and 100 mph.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
All the defensive drills are there too: line drives, fly balls, grounders, catcher’s pop upsand more.
The centre of gravity design allows easy and precise adjustment of the pitch and drill settings.
So is it worth the money? Basically, yes. Cheaper machines tend to fall apart after a time, especially in the wheel area and other spots which take punishment over the lifespan of the equipment.
