How do you make shapes(all the same sizes) with a protractor??? such as a hexagon and a decagon?
Im doing a project for school that requires you to make 8 of the following shapes: Triangle,square pentagon,hexagon,octagon,nonagon,decagon,and dodecagon. I dont know how to make these shapes all the same size with a protractor.. (be descriptive, im dumb)
Well, I know these shapes. First a triangle has 3 sides, draw three straight lines. Next, well, a square is a 4 sided polygon. Draw four straight lines. A pentagon is a polygon with 5 sides. Draw five straight lines. A hexagon is an only polygon with 120 degrees, 6 angles and 6 sides. Draw a six sided shape with six straight lines. An octagon has 8 sides. Draw a eight sided shape not a stop sign. A nonagon has 9 sides, draw six lines and three more lines. A decagon has 10 sides, draw 5 sides and 5 more. A dodecagon has 12 sides, draw a dozen of sides. And you’re done.
